Meet Twinkle
Twinkle is Tillys litter sister, she is a blue point neuter but has some health issues which we weren't aware of when we first got her from the person that chose to call herself a breeder. That said, she is a charismatic cat, full of life and always prepared to trip you up on the stairs, generous as they come! Twinkle was born with a partially cleft palate, there is no evidence of this from the outside, she looks perfectly normal but there is a small hole in the roof of her mouth that is evident only when you open her mouth wide and look in. The other way that you can tell is that she doesn't have the deeper Siamese meow, it's very squeaky. Twinkle plays at 200 mph and seems to relish every day she's on this earth, as soon as she hears a piezo spark on the gas fire or bathroom wall heater, she's there, like all cats she adores heat. Twinkle is not a cat that forces herself on you, four cats and one pair of hands often means the more determined cats get more fuss, at some point I turn round and see her waiting patiently for her fuss and cuddle. She is chief groomer and even takes the time to groom my arms with her rough tongue! Although I am quite bitter towards the person who we got Twinkle from, it in no way reflects on the cat, I am glad that we got her in many ways because not everybody would be so forgiving of her ailment, at least we give her a stable home and love.....oh and a gas fire! At night in winter, Twinkle sleeps in our bed under the duvet, usually at the back of my legs.

This picture was taken shortly after she was neutered, we had an aloe vera plant that she used to sleep on for some strange reason, you can imagine that it didn't last long!
